Terms of use
Version 1 · in force since 14 October 2026
This document is currently available in French only. The French version is the only legally binding one.
Purpose
These general terms of use (the "CGU") govern the use of the Peaked website, a platform that connects travellers with mountain professionals. Bookings are governed by the general terms of sale; professionals are also bound by the pro terms.
Account
Only adults (aged 18 and over) may create an account. Creating an account requires you to accept these CGU; the version you accepted and the date of acceptance are recorded. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for the information you provide, which must be accurate.
Rules of use
You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive or that infringes the rights of others, leave a fake review, bypass the platform to book or pay outside Peaked, or use the site in an automated way.
Messaging
The messaging service allows you to communicate with a professional about an activity. Until a booking between you has been confirmed, telephone numbers and email addresses written in messages are hidden. Peaked only reads conversations in the event of a report, suspected fraud or a dispute, or at the request of an authority.
Reporting content
Every listing, activity, review and message can be reported using the "Report" button. Peaked will acknowledge receipt of your report, review it and inform you of its decision.
Suspension and closure
If these CGU are breached, Peaked may suspend or close an account, after informing you and stating the reason. You can delete your account at any time from your account area.
Liability
Activities are carried out under the sole responsibility of the professional. Peaked makes every effort to keep the site available at all times but cannot guarantee that there will be no interruptions.
Changes to the CGU
Each new version is published on the site with its effective date.
Governing law and mediation
These CGU are governed by French law. Consumer mediator: [À compléter : nom et coordonnées du médiateur].
Document to be completed by the Peaked team from the administration area (Contenus › Documents légaux section). Each change creates a new dated version, with its effective date.
