Book an activity
Choose an activity, pick a date and a time slot, enter the number of participants and add it to your basket. You can pay securely online.
We'll hold your places for a few minutes (the countdown is shown in your basket). Once the time is up, they're released to other travellers, but you can book them again if they're still available.
In most cases, yes: you'll receive a confirmation by email as soon as your payment goes through. Some providers confirm each booking manually. If that's the case, we'll let you know before you pay, and you'll hear back from them within 48 hours at the latest.
Payment and cancellation
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, so your card details never pass through Peaked's servers.
Yes. The price shown on each activity includes the Peaked service fee (10% of the activity price), so there are no extra charges at checkout. You'll find a breakdown of the activity price and the service fee in your basket, your booking and your invoice.
Yes, you can cancel from your "My bookings" area. The rule is the same for every activity: if you cancel at least 48 hours before the start, you'll get back everything you paid for the activity. Only the service fee is non-refundable. For example, if an activity is listed at €110 including fees (€100 for the activity and €10 service fee), you'll be refunded €100. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start, no refund is given. The exact amount you'll be refunded is shown before you confirm the cancellation. If your request is still awaiting confirmation from the professional, you can cancel it free of charge, as nothing will have been taken from your account.
You'll receive a full refund, including service fees, within 5 to 10 days, depending on your bank.
Let us know through your booking, under "Report a problem", any time from the start of the activity up to 7 days after it ends. We'll then hold the payment to the professional while the Peaked team looks into what happened with both of you and decides whether to offer a refund, in full or in part.
You'll find them in your account, under "My invoices". If you're refunded, a credit note is issued automatically.
Professionals
Apply from the "Become a pro" page. Our team will check your profile and qualifications, then activate your account.
Peaked collects customer payments and automatically transfers them to your bank account via Stripe 7 days after the activity ends, minus Peaked's commission. This gives customers time to report a problem. If they do, the payout is put on hold until Peaked has made a decision.
