Who processes your data
Peaked, the publisher of the site (see the legal notice), is responsible for the processing described here. If you have any questions or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@peaked.fr.
What we collect and why
- Your account (surname, first name, email, phone number (optional), encrypted password, version of the Terms of Use accepted): to identify you and manage your bookings. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Your bookings and payments (activities, dates, participants and their ages where the activity requires one, amounts, invoices): to carry out the booking and meet our accounting obligations. Payments are processed by Stripe: Peaked never has access to your card number.
- Messaging with professionals: to prepare for the activity. Contact details (email, phone number) written in a message are hidden until the booking is confirmed.
- Your reviews and your reports of content: to inform other travellers and to deal with illegal content (European Digital Services Act).
- Connection logs (IP address, browser): to keep accounts secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- For professionals: identity, SIRET number, documents (professional card, insurance), qualifications, bank details (held by Stripe) and tax information (date of birth, tax number): Peaked is required by law to report to the tax authorities each year the sums received by each professional (European DAC7 Directive, Article 1649 ter A and following of the French General Tax Code). Legal basis: legal obligation.

Your data is never sold.

- Inactive customer account: we send you an email after 23 months without a login, and the account is deleted after 2 years (invoices are kept, as required by law).
